Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data ADROX INDUSTRIES collects through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have. It covers the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO).

What we collect
- Contact form. Company, last name, first name, email address, telephone number, your message, the language of the page you wrote from, and where applicable the product reference you started from. The form also carries one hidden field that a visitor never fills in; it exists only to catch automated submissions and is discarded.
- WhatsApp. If you write to us on WhatsApp, your telephone number and the content of the conversation. WhatsApp is operated by a third party under its own privacy policy.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical data, including IP address, date and time, pages requested and browser type, for security and troubleshooting.
We collect nothing else. This website has no account, no login, no basket and no newsletter.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not build profiles, and we do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies. It uses no local storage, no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking of any kind. Its typefaces are served from our own server, so loading a page contacts no third party. You will not be asked to accept cookies here, because there is nothing to accept.
The contact form. It posts straight to our customer relationship management provider, Zoho. None of Zoho’s scripts run on this website and none of their cookies are set here: the tracking script their form builder offers was deliberately left out. Submitting the form sends the fields you filled in and the language of the page, nothing more.
Who else sees your data
A short list, and it is the whole list. Each provider acts on our instructions under a data processing agreement, and none of them may use your data for its own purposes.

No advertising network, no analytics provider, no data broker. We never receive or send lists of contacts.
International transfers
ADROX INDUSTRIES is established in Hong Kong, which is not covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission. Personal data you send us is therefore transferred outside the European Economic Area.
Your enquiry also travels to Zoho’s data centre in the United States, likewise outside the European Economic Area, where it is stored for as long as stated below.
Two safeguards apply. Transfers to our own establishment in Hong Kong rely on Article 49(1)(b) GDPR: the transfer is necessary for the performance of a contract with you, or for steps taken at your request before entering into one. Transfers to our service providers are governed by data processing agreements incorporating the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and business correspondence are kept for three years from our last contact with you, unless you ask us to erase them sooner or a longer period is required by law. Server logs are kept for the period set by our hosting provider.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable form. Write to contact@adroxindustries.com and we will reply within one month.
You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in France the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés (CNIL), or the authority of the country where you live or work.
Automated decision-making
We take no automated decisions about you and carry out no profiling.
Hong Kong — Personal Information Collection Statement
Supplying your personal data to us is voluntary. If you choose not to supply it, we may be unable to answer your enquiry.
The data you provide is used to respond to your enquiry, to manage the resulting business relationship, and for directly related purposes. It may be transferred to our hosting, customer relationship management and messaging providers named above, and to our staff and affiliates involved in handling your request.
Under sections 18 and 22 and principle 6 of Schedule 1 to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to request access to and correction of your personal data. Requests should be sent to contact@adroxindustries.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
